From One Life Transformed:

Mrs. Knudsen and Mrs. Gourley,

I never got to thank you last night (at graduation). I wish I could've, but I couldn't quite get to you. So I'll say it in this email. Thank you both, and all the other people who made my middle school years so amazing.

When I first started at LOMSAA, I wasn't exactly the strongest in my faith. I was always getting into trouble and never coming to accept God. And now that I came to this school. I understand what I was missing out on in my whole life. I understand what I should have done and I'm glad that I had the experience now and not later.

I honestly appreciate how amazing you two were. You helped me with all of my assignments, and sure, I wasn't exactly the best at getting them in on time. But you both still helped me through it. You encouraged me and told me that I could do it.

Throughout LOMSAA, I have met so many different people, gone so many places, and made so many memories that I will never forget. I can never forget how amazing you guys treated us all. But I can also never forget how you accepted myself, and everyone else included into your hearts. And how you have a new class every year. But you remember all of us by name and I am so thankful for that.

I will truly never forget the amazing experience I had at LOMSAA. And I know a lot of people probably say this, but I can never thank you enough for the spectacular memories that you provided me in only two years. I wish I could say this face to face, I really do. But as long as this gets to both of you, then I'll be happy. Please, never forget our class, because we sure will never forget you.

If anyone asks me what middle school I went to. I'll be sure to shout out LOMSAA. Because even though its a tiny school, it's the best school. And I know you say there are no "better schools" than others. But LOMSAA truly is the best school. Thank you for giving me opportunities to change my life and accept the Lord into my heart. To end this all off, I'd like to tell you my favorite Bible verse:

Colossians 3:15-17 - "And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Thank You!
Sincerely, Class of 2014 student
